What-is-Accreditation

What is Accreditation?

Reliability by Compliance Test

Demand for the quality of goods and services continues to increase as a result of free trade and the increasing demands on consumers, companies and legislatures. Whether it is to protect the environment, the food or electricity industry, health care or renewable energy – in these and many other industries, objective testing, pricing, testing or certification therefore plays a very important role.

Trust in Accreditation

However, the trust placed in certificates, examinations, tests or ratings depends on the ability of the person providing the testing service. Most of these organizations are called compliance assessments and therefore ensure the quality of their work through accreditation.

As part of the accreditation process, they can assure the accreditation body that they are performing their duties with professional competence, in accordance with legal requirements and standards and standards comparable to other countries. The accreditation body evaluates and monitors the management system and the competency of the staff assigned to check compliance.

Authorization therefore plays a key role in ensuring consistency of compliance test results and building trust with the quality and safety of products and services.

Description of Period of Accreditation in accordance with ISO / IEC 17011

“Accreditation means a third party evidence related to a compliance test body that demonstrates official demonstration of its ability to perform specific compliance testing tasks”.
